Kimberley Town Part 5

 Today I will show you the tailor shop as well as Maggie's Tea Shop, where she also has a few rooms available for the richer traveler. 

First I will show you a few pictures of the building which houses the next three shops I want to share with you.

 I have two more buildings to share with you today. (There are five more to share!)

The Blacksmith

I did not use an inspiration pic for this build, but I fell in love with all the cc Asyli made as well a few pieces by Srslysims. 

The Police Station:

I am not sure if Francine is there because she has something to complain about, or whether she fancies the law enforcement officer. They are both still single. Who knows?

Kimberley Town Part 3

 Next up on the list of building to show are the bank and the open camping area for the sims who live on the outskirts of the area on their different claims, to relax while tending to all kinds of business. 

The Standard Bank of British South Africa.

First off my inspiration picture of the real building.

I was not able to track down windows similar to those used on the building, so if any of you know where I can find some, I would appreciate it. I would love to change it on my building too.

After I posted this photo I realized the white of the logo was too bright. So I changed it

Last pics taken this morning....... overcast weather, so the pics are a bit on the dark side. But you get the idea I hope.

And then the office of the Bank Manager.

The Camping Area:

This is a figment of my imagination. I thought about the travelers who visited the town, and they had to have a place to rest.

It is a pity that the neighborhood buildings shows, but nothing I can do about that. 

Kimberley Town Part 2

 I am very excited to share with you the next two buildings. I had a lot of fun putting it together. 

THE DIAMOND BUYER

The Sim made for this business is based on the framed photograph on the wall behind the desk. I did not attempt to make an exact replica..... since it is more about the build. But I am happy with him: Julius Wernher.

Again I will give you the inspiration pictures first.

In this last picture Julius is keeping track of his recent diamond buys. hope you can see the two "rocks" he has acquired. 

THE DIGGERS REST

What would a town be without a place where the hard working men can come together to discuss the finds of the day, have his fill of chosen beverage, listen to music and make even more money (...or loose some) at the cards table?

The next building is made just for them.
