Lockdown

 I know for many lock down is just a way of life now, but where I live, we have been extremely lucky and have lived mostly normal lives with few restrictions.  

Yesterday we went into full lock down for 5 days (which may be extended) due to a quarantine officer contracting the UK strain of the disease while doing his job.  He didn't even come into contact with the person who came into my state from overseas, which is really scary.

After 8 weeks break, school was supposed to resume today, naturally this has been cancelled.

I care full time for my grandchildren aged 7 and 3 and having to stay home full time is unheard of for these kids!

You probably think, what's the big deal..........we have been protected fiercely by the leader of our state, which has allowed us to live freely and now we have temporarily, lost that privilege  😢

New Update

 I am happy to say that I now have the other  (old) graphics card installed in my pc.

Due to covid-19 and the world wide restrictions on movement, I struggle to find a replacement for the card I lost. All the reputable computer stores ran out of stock.

So I have one on back order, hope I do not have to wait for too long. And hopefully the current card will keep working until then. I was able to playtest a little and so far I found it not to be too bad.

I lost my steam a bit when I ran into trouble, and I lost my creative feel. I need to get back into the groove to finish the Winter Owl Set, and to make a good job of it. I am actually excited to share the set with you.

Here is a sneak peek of what I have finished so far. Hope you like it. 

Current Progress

 Just a small update.....

My computer is still not fixed, but I had an older graphics card, which will be installed later today. Hopefully that will help out until I have the new one. 

Even though I cannot really go in the game for long, I am working on a new set. 

Called it Winter Owl set, and will feature about 18 new meshes. I am almost halfway through the set. No pics yet, you will have to wait a little longer.

It is raining today,  part of  Eloise hitting this part of our country. No winds, just cold weather. There are parts of South Africa that has been put on high alert, so I hope she will not be too destructive.

PC problems

I am just stopping by to let you know I have a slight problem with my computer. 

It started during December, and yesterday it finally gave notice. 

My graphics card decided it was time to say goodbye, so now I cannot enter the game, not even for 5 minutes. 

I have to get a new one, but as you all know the good stuff is costing a lot of money, so I will have to make a plan to get a new one. Hopefully it will not be too long, because I have other stuff I want to share with you, but I can't test it if the game can not run.

I will let you know as soon as I am able to play again.

Might be doing just that! LOL

Loft Designe Dining Set

 

Included in the set:

Dining Hutch.  Place objects with MoveObjects. Move up or down for placement. I did not add slots, the glass obscured the view, and I could not place the slots properly. As you can see one is able to place objects on the shelves. 

Sideboard: Slots added. Can be found under dressers since I like my cc to be functional.

Please note both objects are high in polys, since I converted a 3d model for the two objects.

Tree In The Wind

 You know me by now..... I was looking for some art and then found a number of textures I liked. So I have been recoloring ever since.

(I will be able to open a gallery real soon.... LOL)
